Arkle from Loch Stack

Arkle from Loch Stack.

Fantastic few days in the North of Scotland last week. Met lots of people from all over the world out on the hills, especially on Suilven and Conival. The mountains in Sutherland are really special as well as being so accessible.

Although we didn't climb Arkle, it is a fine mountain that commands respect. There is work going on, on the path up the mountain, that doesn't seem to be improving it for walkers, so I'd choose another walk in the area, if you're not out corbett bagging!
