Summit Ben Bharrain Arran 21.02.09

Summit Ben Bharrain Arran.

Climbed Ben Bharrain on Arran on 21.02.09. Although the weather wasn't great, we really enjoyed this superb walk. The summit views allowed us to see through to Goatfell, but we can only imagine how beautiful they must be on a clear day.

The walk really had everything - sea views, wooded glens, waterfalls as well as a cracking scramble. We managed to fit in with public transport with the bus from the ferry offering an excellent service to the starting point at Pirnmill.

A fabulous day on this lovely island, and a walk that we'll definitely do again.
