Wild Fungi, Perthshire, Scotland, Field Mushrooms.
Had a nice evening woodland walk tonight, 15th July 2010, picking some chanterelles for breakfast. On my return, crossing the football pitch I was amazed to find a flush of field mushrooms growing all over the pitch! I've played football there for the last 25 years and this is the first year I've seen these growing.
On reflection, I should have laid them out in a four, four two formation!
